These discs are no worse than others. I've worked a lot on them. None flew off, not torn. They worked well and lasted a long time - I've used many of them, all with different grits, and haven't thrown a single disc yet. Each has a still life for a different purpose. good value Someone mentioned they don't last long. I suppose that could be true if you didn't try to clean them and just throw them away. I've had great success just rinsing them off, or using them to soak up sand water and a little dish soap in a spray bottle and just wipe off any sticky residue with my fingers. If they are badly clogged, they can also be cleaned with another piece of old, used sandpaper.
