Review on Garmin Premium Heart Monitor Strap by Travis Bozman

I've had 3 (three) of these piles of junk and every time I feel like it must be me. No, Garmin is nothing more than a greedy company that keeps making a product that people are having trouble with just so they can make a few million more. Why use 4 screws on something like this? Why use the 4 softest screws known to man? On a device that is exposed to sweat and salt every day? Because they are scammers. I will not spend any more money on this product and neither should you. It will work right away, oh yes it will work. But then you need to replace the battery, change it and good luck. After wearing the bracelet for months, the screws no longer work because they are welded in their tiny holes. So use some force, right? NOT CORRECT. The screws will break, and then you will have to try to loosen them in some other way. In the best case, you save the device and can use it again. However, what usually happens is you destroy the transmitter and Garmin gets another $50 from you. I've used countless heart rate monitors and this one is the biggest crap heap of them all. And they continue to sell the same model despite people complaining about it. Sounds like a great company, right?
