If you have a frameless top or don't normally take the top off, this is a great design. The latches on the factory points of the tank are tight and secure. For factory users of the hood (with frame), however, the net AND the hood cannot be installed at the same time. I leave mine plain but I have to open the sides and fit it into the moving frame which just sags and looks bad. We leave it on to speed up installation when taking the dog on a trip and we still really like it because when it's on top it uses FULL protection of your tub, but it would be great if there was one there was an option to let it go. with the top up so you can remove the windows and have the sun visor over the mesh from the factory.
