Very nice realistic ivy that looks great in my dorm room! I took some separate garlands and wrapped them around the ivy and it worked great. The ivy is made up of many individual segments but they are very easy to braid together --- I hung the ivy on just 6 hooks and weaved the ivy between the hooks and it holds up very well. However, if you're hanging these things outside, you might want to tape them together with tape or something, because sometimes when I open the windows, the wind pulls the ivy down. It smells awful when it comes out of the box but the smell goes away pretty quickly, just be prepared for it---I thought I was ready for the smell and I wasn't. Be very careful when removing it from the packaging - the fact that the ivy wraps itself easily also means that it gets tangled very easily. I made a mistake separating the ivy and ended up with a tangled ball that took quite a while to unravel! Overall I'm very happy with it! excellent quality and a lot of ivy for your money
