Blade dented after 4 uses - Damascus steel knife

I never wash my knife in the dishwasher. I've used the knife about 3 or 4 times and it's already serrated. A small minus, but pretty damn disappointing for a $100 knife, having only used it for veggies and steak. My favorite knives are my Henkels (international version, German steel assembled in Spain). These knives hold up better than this new knife. That's ridiculous. The feel of this knife is okay, but I was hoping for a better balance. It looks a bit awkward. I haven't tried Global G-2's chef's knife, but maybe I should have bought one instead, or maybe I should have paid a little more money and left Shun. In truth, I didn't use the other knife that came with it. kit. I bought the set primarily because of the Damascus steel Japanese knife. The damask knife was a disappointment for the money. Check-up after 2 months - this knife is fine. I spent money on a Global G-2 chef's knife. Out of the box I found it weird because it's so light. However, after getting used to the feel, when I need to use a chef's knife, I reach for the global knife. Between Kuma and Global I would be Global in an instant.
