Review on Replacement Cartridge Assembly for Delta Monitor 1700 Series Tub/Shower Faucet Valve from 1998-2005 by Luis Nelson

Bought Delta boxed from a local plumbing store and marked this OEM brand white and installed on 2 separate lights. I thought the OEM had a much smoother experience than the Delta and the OEM is almost identical to the Delta. All seals and o-rings fit well, OEM valve body is the same size. Be sure to clean the seal seat with CLR, clean the seat well and reassemble properly. I used a very thin layer of O-ring on the inside of the jar. No leaks as others have reported. I'm glad I saved some money here! If any brand of valve leaks in the future I will update this post.
