Great for measuring H2O in honey

I am new to beekeeping and didn't realize I needed something like this. I thought honey is honey and when I got my first crop I bottled it and the honey tasted great. I know honey is the only food that doesn't spoil, so I didn't think to measure it. I didn't know that if you collect honey that contains too much water, the honey can ferment. That might be fine if you're making mead, but it's not a good idea for table honey. Usually the bees take care of that. They only seal honey when it's moist enough, but harvesting can sometimes result in uncorked honey, so this guy comes into play. So I used it to measure my honey. You must first make a "sample" measurement with extra virgin olive oil and if everything is ok you can test the honey. I did it perfectly so the bees did their job. It's something you use once or maybe twice a year so be careful where you store it and you don't have to buy it for $150. It's accurate, well done, and easy to read. What more can you ask for? Definitely recommended for beekeepers.
