, I usually put a towel under the dishes I unload from the dishwasher. I bought it after reading some of the other positive reviews and I have no regrets. It folds up conveniently when I'm not using it and easily fits on the counter to store dishes still damp from the dishwasher. Newer dishwashers don't have a tumble dryer, so quite a bit of wet dishes are left on the counter before being placed in the cabinet. This started leaving a lot of water stains on the countertop. This rug has absolutely saved me time polishing countertops and kept water droplets from getting into the cabinets.
