This is a simple product with a simple purpose: to protect the palm rest area of your MacBook from dirt and scratches. Anyone who wears a watch, bracelet, etc. is putting their laptop at risk of scratches. The MacBooks are made from high quality (and expensive) metal which is not resistant to scratches. Putting these protectors on the laptop will save the laptop from scratches as well as dirt and oil stains. This product shines the ease of installation. Left and right is clearly marked, an alcohol prep is provided and step by step instructions are included. If you follow the provided link, there are also videos to further help installation. These blend in quite well with the color of my MacBook and are most likely not noticeable unless one knows to look for them. The adhesive is strong enough to keep the protectors on, but if you mess up the orientation during installation (as I always do) you can remove them and reorient as needed. Overall, these are a great add-on to protect your laptop.
