I don't understand how it got such good reviews, besides maybe they didn't have better ones? The screen does not respond very well to touch. It took a few taps from time to time, just like an old phone. I'm upgrading from a 2018 Moto e5+. It also doesn't have the best response time, but that didn't happen until I broke the screen, never when it was new. First, it's HARD! Most Moto models have a thicker build due to the larger battery, but being a cheap plastic vs metal body it's heavy but still light, the E5+ should be lighter. The most important thing for me, the camera. where to start forget it inside I had a lamp next to my face and still had to use the flash! No joke! I took many side-by-side shots with my old phone in the same light and at the same distance, and the only thing I can say was an improvement in the saturation and color balance of the street frontage. Most photos are very pixelated. When zoomed in, they almost look like they have a screen in front of them. The selfie camera is very blurry and overcompensated even with photo compensation turned off. The same applies to the front, also on the outside. It almost looks like a color filter or plasticine. I thought there was something on the lens but it wasn't. As for the macro, it's great! It captured all the drips in my hot French Press perfectly, and the flash created a beautiful bokeh. Photos taken from a distance of 6 feet without magnification do not have good clarity and detail. The coolest and most useful feature is the fingerprint scanner. It's actually a side power button so you can set it up as you pick up the phone, which is very convenient and doesn't add anything extra to the back of the phone. Despite its "paper-like" quality, the screen is dark and matte. As for games, I only play simple interactive games like Food Street and Covet Fashion, but even these have a bit of a lag in loading times, so I don't think it's good for people playing full games or heavy games. all the nice gestures/shortcuts that Moto has to offer, like a swipe to turn the flashlight off and on (my favorite), or jump to the camera and then go front-to-front and back with a flick of the wrist. I recently tried another brand and really missed my gestures so I left my old phone next to me to use as a flashlight in the middle of the night lol. Verdict: Yes, this is considered a budget phone, but it has to be one of the best out there. I would have thought he went one step further last year, but instead it seems like he went back and forth ahead of the 2018 Moto Series. This is really a disappointment!
