I added sumo front and rear springs to my Chevy 4500 RV on a 14,000 pound chassis. Together, they've gone from gross, painful, and downright awful to outstanding. The hard bumps found on concrete roads with large expansion joints are a thing of the past. Sometimes I crashed into bridge crossings and the whole RV smacked, cupboards and dishes rattled. Rear passengers complained about the ride quality to the point that they were fed up with the car. The best benefit is that sideways swaying is almost gone. It has been greatly improved. Big trucks used to pull me into their lane when they started overtaking and then back me up when they took the lead. The Wyoming wind would have made the journey tiring. These little guys almost eliminated the influence. The motorhome isn't a sports car, but it corners hard and feels more like a car than a motorhome. Winding mountain roads can now be steered with one hand. I can't say enough about how they improved the ride! They installed in minutes (once I figured it out). Be sure to raise the frame enough to clear the chassis and axle. You can then easily slide them into place. If there's one thing you should do for a van/truck camper, it's this.
