I did mini research into these silicone splash guards. One some the shortcomings were obvious from the product page, little or no slope. Those I eliminate from my short list at once, for the others I had to read quite few reviews to select the finalist.This long splash guard was the winner based on it characteristics. Good slope to ensure little water stays on the guard and most drips into the sink, a fold line in the back to accommodate faucets which are close to the wall, and strong, closely spaced ribs to allow items to rest, but not sit in water.I saw the comments regarding "no built-in soap dispenser”, but knowing it is silicone I knew that I can easily cut openings for those. Obviously, I liked the product enough to accept extra work after I receive it.But I made a mistake in my measuring. The guard can be cut to accommodate my two built-in soap dispensers, but the dishwasher air gap is too close to the edge to cut a hole for it.It is a great splash guard, but I’ll end-up using it for our guest bathroom. Pity that it isn’t a bit longer so it can work in our kitchen.
