How it could have been better designed: 1. make the back side stiff so it can stand it up and can act as a back splash. 2. make the lips that surrounds the facet more water tight because its current design makes it as if it wasn't there and water pools underneath.

This is one of the larger/longer types of these silicone mats. It's not that thick or too thick, so it's easier to maneuver into place. It also has an interlocking piece on the back, behind the faucet, to lock it into place, others don't have that feature.It does have a slope towards the sink, that helps aid in the water run off. It's a lot better with these, as no more water or mold/mildew around the spouts now in the sink, or hard water stains, scale, etc.

This does a great job at keeping all the pooling water at bay from hand and dish washing. This is more flexible than I had anticipated, which is great. It allows you to place it over uneven surfaces, and for my drop in stainless steel sink where there's a low raised edge it doesn't matter, this fits nicely and has enough of a slope everything drains off it. I don’t really have anything bad to say about this product. Not suitable for use in a busy kitchen. It does it’s job and gets any excess water back into the sink.

Our faucet sits further back on the sink than most so while this is wide enough, we need the depth to be bigger. It doesn’t quite reach to the end of our sink. I think it will be great for most sinks. It does help for ours but need it just a bit bigger.

This product is genius. It stops the water from going behind the sink and making a mess. When doing dishes or washing hands, the water doesn't splash all over the counter now. This product sits around the sink faucet and protects the counters from water. Love it!

This is a great unit. It works as advertised. As option that we would like to see in the future would be multi lengths of this product. Our ledge around the sink is staying mostly dry from dripping hands and splashes. If it came in longer lengths we would be able to fit more of our cleaning supplies on the drain mat.

Water was always splashing up around the faucet. This nicely directs it back down into the sink. At first glance, it looked like the center hole might be too small for our faucet diameter (2.5") but it fits just fine.

There are a bunch of these varieties but this one actually has a slope to it that makes the water run into the sink. Also the big grooves enables dish scrubbing pads to rest on them but still get air underneath to dry them out.

The splash guard is tops! It is longer and thicker than other brands and has a locking section in the back. I am head over heels about this. Great product. Last picture is a comparison of an older different brand of splash guard I was using. Amazing product

Very chunky looking, not attractive, nothing you want on your counter. Looks like it belongs in the garage somewhere. Takes up too much counter space!

This product is difficult to keep clean and make it keep looking fresh. It is also difficult to place the soap bottle standing on the ribs.

This little guy was easy to pop in around my faucet fixture and works exactly as designed - I found it helpful to have a slightly overlap into the sink, just to be sure the water flows back.
