I have tried different training and barking collars with my puppies. For me the most important things are: 1. Is it gentle on them but at the same time conveys the essence? 2. Is it comfortable for multiple dogs? is it rechargeable?4. Does it work in the house and in the yard? This product fits! The controller can control both collars independently, which is ideal for two or more dogs (you can buy and use more collars). There are options for vibration, sound, and small bumps (which I thoroughly tested on my hand and neck before using on my pups). I always use this device in turn. First the horn, politely letting you know that I do not condone such behavior. Then I beep again with vibration as a final warning (about a minute after the first). Then I apply a small shock (set to 15/99). This always gets her attention and usually brings her to the house to apologize for her bad behavior. This is perfect for my small community where barking can result in having to relocate my puppies. All in all a great product. Works effectively and helps everyone stay patient. Dogs are wonderful creatures and deserve respect. This is a great way to train and gives them plenty of opportunities to quit on their own.
