This bike rack will not fit 5 adult bikes. In fact I could only put 3 bikes on and had to tie them down to keep them from sliding off. This was frustrating because I wanted to take our family's bikes with me on the trip, but I was only able to take a few! What a waste! I had to tie down 3 bikes because the plastic holders slide when the car drives. Completely unsure. If you want to travel with 3 or more bikes, this bike rack is not for you. And the kingpin won't fit without modifications! I want my money back! NOT easy to use, not as advertised, not suitable for carrying 5 adult bikes!
