Working but didn't fit my RX330 remote control

I bought a used car, the previous owner glued the key in. So I decided to play it safe and called my local Lexus dealer. The one below is the one they sent. It cost me about $250 to have a cut out remote key shipped to me. They also stated that programming would require an additional $75. I saved that, did a little research and programmed it for a keyless and security system. Works perfectly! Now that the original key is glued on I wanted another working key. So I disassembled it along with acrylic acid based nail polish remover. I had to break the metal part of the plastic reset button after taking out the remote. I left it in acrylic acid for a good hour. This softened it so I could grab the pliers by the corner to pry the plastic off the end of the metal key. I ordered this because of the good reviews. The delivery was fast and it looked like the description. Get out the pliers because you'll need to use them to push the metal key through. I had to remove the battery cover as it wouldn't close. Even after that, there is a small gap at the bottom and the keys don't protrude. Hey, that's it. I got a fully functional replacement key for a reasonable price. I didn't spend another $250 on a second key. In my opinion, I wouldn't want to use it all the time. Looks like the way mine fits is going to break eventually.
