Doesn't fit right

These cases are flimsy and cheap. They didn't align properly and I wouldn't recommend them for a 2008 rx350. Keep the original screw as you will need it. I took my spare key, changed the battery and used half the device so it wasn't a total waste of time and I had to keep the logo and not the ugly long number on the lid. Buyer Warning!

Barely enough. Bad kit. Would come back if there was no headache $$

Does not fit original. Good thing there were two because the key's first reinforcement broke when trying to insert the key. Second, I used some lube and pliers on each end of the t and was able to get it in. not fully seated. The screw holding it together is very soft and was removed by hand with the small screwdriver provided. The picture showed a gold embossed L, but plain black arrived. In general, the product barely meets the requirements. Not recommended due to fitting and screw issues.

Doesn't go well with interior

Just put this together for my key which recently broke. I had no idea what the little "t" was for because mine broke in the case. I assumed it had something to do with the key but the key didn't fit so I had no idea what it was for. Finally he pulled out his pliers and pushed the key through the too small hole. I put everything together but the case doesn't close tightly so who knows how long it will last. Thank you to the Amazon reviewers who answered my question, especially Bryce whose…

The Only Way to GO best in Key Shells

If you have a Lexus RX 400h 06 or possibly many other Lexus or Toyota models with a broken remote case and blade, this is the ticket, open it You open the case (probably half now) and remove the transmitter (3 button thing), snap the blade (key) off the body, peel the plastic residue off the blade to get to the bare blade. Pass the blade through the small plastic piece that comes in the kit and align the holes, place on the stand side of the case, slide on the other side of the case, insert the

Repairs broken and broken keys

They work great to fix a broken case. They have a nice logo, but they also have an ugly part number sticker on the back of the keychain. They can be a bit difficult to replace. Basically, they are very easy to use. However, this may require a certain level of patience and mechanical skill. Replaced the shell on two keys. One passed very easily; the other was difficult. It took me a lot of effort to remove the last piece of plastic from the metal rod (the grooved part that goes into the ignition

Save Big Money

Here's the trick with this thing. To slide it through the plastic casing, run the bare wrench and apply enough force to reach the bottom. I couldn't sit down fully with my bare hands, I was afraid of breaking it. I used 2 pliers, gently on each side of the plastic and squeezed at the same time and the key clicked into place. Make sure the hole is perfectly aligned. Connect everything together and tighten the screw. Only 4 stars although as others have mentioned the fit is not perfect. There is…

Working but didn't fit my RX330 remote control

I bought a used car, the previous owner glued the key in. So I decided to play it safe and called my local Lexus dealer. The one below is the one they sent. It cost me about $250 to have a cut out remote key shipped to me. They also stated that programming would require an additional $75. I saved that, did a little research and programmed it for a keyless and security system. Works perfectly! Now that the original key is glued on I wanted another working key. So I disassembled it along with…
