***NO SAFE HELMET*** I hate this harness especially for large dogs. I've tried it a few times with my 45 lb German Shepherd and it doesn't hold her in place. I tried several times until a car cut me off and I had to hit the brakes and dodge to the side. She was in the back seat and was thrown forward, my passenger had to help her change position until I could stop. make sure she was okay. Due to its unwieldy size, it twisted in the seat belt very easily. After that incident, I bought a Kurgo Journey ($40) from a nearby pet store and it was the best decision I've made. I worry that if it were worse, my dog wouldn't survive. Please do your research to find the best product for your pet, this is not the case.
