This is truly a revolutionary feeder. I had to vacuum every day because my cockatiel decided to scatter her seeds on the floor. It almost eliminates the clutter! It took her a few days to get used to it, but I put some valuable treats in the food bowl and she quickly realized that the big scary box is actually not that scary :) Depending on the stride length (i.e. how wide it can reach their little legs), you can move the perch forward or backward. Cleaning is a bit of a chore, but a tidy environment requires little effort to clean. It's worth it! Highly recommended for any bird parent unhappy with the mess!
