Review on KYB SM5142 Strut Mount Kit by Raj Mazzabufi

This is an improvement over what I had. My main complaints are that the installation diagram doesn't accurately show all the details and the round metal ring that came with it doesn't fit. There is a round metal ring the size of a rack post. I believe it should be used with a top spring seat but the instructions don't say for sure. I had to use my bench sander and turn the metal ring to sand it evenly until it was small enough to fit the post saddle. I didn't expect this from a company like KYB that has such a reputation for quality, but it is. Reusing an old rack and what I could put into a new one. In the future I'll probably just order a full rack mount and avoid that headache.
