Review on 🔒 Satin Nickel Amazon Basics Single Cylinder Deadbolt by Jessie Burgos

I bought this for my bedroom door to provide some security until my roommates figure out how to actually lock their apartment door (2 months and up). that they don't understand the basic concept.) I originally bought a slightly cheaper Honeywell lock, but something went wrong during installation and the deadbolt came out of the door. I don't know if the lock was defective or if I screwed up, but I decided to buy something stronger (actually something that had a bolt attached to the part that pierces through the door) and found this. Installation took about five minutes to replace a latch of the same size/shape and even getting very long screws to attach to the door was very easy. I don't know if I can trust this to be secure enough for a front door, but it works well enough for an extra layer of security on an interior door.
