Review on πŸ₯€ Tahoe Trails 30oz Stainless Steel Vacuum Insulated Tumbler, Silver - Double Wall Design for Long-Lasting Temperature Control by Paul Beach

Great jar, terrible lid.

This glass is a mixed cup. The 16 ounce jar itself is fine, but the lid is terrible. In particular, the hinged lid that covers the drain hole is just plain poorly designed. For the life of me I can't understand why they couldn't design the hinged lid to fold all the way back in the open position. When you open it it only goes about 2/3 of the way and then stops. And so it sticks up in the air and right up your nose when you try to drink. This results in you not being able to close the pouring hole on the upper lip well and the coffee only wants to drip around your mouth, down your chin and onto your clothes. Almost every day I use it, a few drops of coffee remain on my pants and shirt. The fact that you have a wide range of colors to choose from is nice, and the glass has little texture, making it easy to grip. But now I have to spend time and money to research and see if there is another cap that fits this thing. After wiping the coffee off my brand new pants this morning, I kept telling myself over and over that the lid on this thing is complete fucking garbage. It would otherwise be very helpful if they nailed the lid, but instead it becomes a lesson that you get what you pay for.

Pros
  • Durable, rust resistant
Cons
  • confusing
