This is a very good wireless adapter. I didn't want to but it connected to my 2.4GHz band straight away and then I didn't want to mess with it anymore because I wanted to use it on my new Panasonic Viera TV with WiFi, a few days later I decided For that take a look if I can connect it to my 5GHz band as it is better for media streaming (I have a 5Mb connection speed) to switch bands on this device. You have to factory reset it and set it up from scratch I chose a different range so I did it but it wouldn't connect to 5GHz and after many tries I decided to just do it with 2.4 to connect and be done with it, except this time it doesn't even connect to that one and kept saying it had a problem with my password for my router (even though I typed the correct one) and kept saying "Trouble getting network key". I read all the solutions to this problem but they didn't work so I went with the simplest one. Reset the Netgear adapter and reboot my router and that did it for me and I promised I wouldn't mess around with this adapter, the Netgear instructions suck and are worthless.
