Review on 🔧 Convenient and Efficient Derale 25708 Remote Filter Mount Kit for Enhanced Filtration Performance by Alejandro Labustin

This filter adapter works as advertised for my parts cleaner except for one major flaw. The thread size for the nipple/adapter that attaches this housing to the filter is 3/4-16 UNF. This is a very unusual size and it is VERY difficult to find suitable filters. I tried using FRAM Extra Guard PH8A but as it is an oil filter it stopped the degreaser flow completely after a few months. Ideally either a fuel filter or coolant should be used, but I have not been able to find a filter with a 3/4-16 thread. So I disconnected the tubing from the body to stop the flow and won't be using it again until I find the right filter!
