It definitely sounds harsher and makes the Jeep sound more assertive, but I didn't notice much of a difference in per gallon (about half a gallon better, give it a go), but it's more likely because I'm commuting between back roads to work or as a fireman knocking for 911 calls. My Jeep is also a Rubicon with 4.10 gears so it doesn't have the same gas mileage as the Sahara or Sport so that might be a factor as well. Still, it looks and sounds good, so I'm keeping it to myself. Maybe a throttle body gasket would help, but we'll see EDIT: The only problem is that after about a month the paint is completely gone. Nothing major unless you really wanted it for the show
