I wanted my chickens to be free range, but one of my pups likes to chase them. So I settled on portioning off a section of my yard for them. I used a short 28” flexible dog pen to start, but the pup was able to jump over it and/or push it aside. I have irrigation in my yard so I didn’t want to dig post holes. This fence is about 5’ high and COMES WITH A DOOR! My yard is not even, so the fact I can attach them at different heights to accommodate my uneven yard is great. I put it together today so we shall see how it holds up. It seems sturdy. My only negative is the tops are open (to fit the canopy archers on), and I know it will fill with water and rust eventually. I wish they came with plastic or rubber hole caps to stop this from happening. It comes with a tarp that is supposed to cover them, but it would be nice if they had caps for the poles as well.
