Good starter kit. I gave it 2 stars because it paints well with acrylics and is below average in watercolors (if you're going for realistic watercolors try a different set, but if you want to see strokes in style and texture then it's my opinion after ok). I've had this brush for 6 months now. Tai is still usable, but the brush fibers are beginning to wear out and will not return to their original shape after washing. Do not even try to leave the brush in the water for a long time, because the painted surface of the brush does not tolerate it. I left my brushes in the water like any artist would, as if using a brush while painting, let it soak in the water, then washed it after that day was over. The black paint on the brush bodies is peeling all over, they are peeling and now I don't even know what number half the brushes are.
