These are definitely glossier markers so if you want a matte marker I would suggest going with Poscas. But for the price and the dual tip, this is a great option, especially if you're just starting out with markers. So far I've really enjoyed working with them. The only reason I gave this four stars instead of five is that they can be inconsistent in color between uses, especially when a stylus is replaced. Speaking of the interchangeable tip, the included tweezers are pretty much useless. You don't save a lot of mess as you still have to flip it over with your fingers and the feathers come out on their own fairly easily without the use of tweezers. Sometimes markers splatter when opened, so I suggest opening them on a separate piece of paper or a paper towel. You have the option to swap out the pen for a chisel, giving you finer lines. It's definitely worth a try.
