Review on StarTech Com 100Mbps Ethernet Converter Copper by Lucas Rowe

I have deployed pairs of these devices in several locations between buildings and where the length of the run within the building needed to exceed the 100 meter limit of copper Ethernet. All were very reliable. My only complaint is a small one. At this price I wish they were gigabit and not just 10/100 but that does NOT reflect the quality of the product. I've also used StarTech's T-1 fiber-over-fiber products, which have been just as good as their Ethernet products. Everything we have used from this manufacturer seems to have been very good. I don't know how long they will last but our own experience is currently close to 5 years.
