Seems sturdy, fits in my work bag every day and protects my glasses. The lid will scratch with use, but who really cares? This is protection, not fashion. The hinges are properly aligned, the spring works well, the inner plastic will crack and fail after about 1.5 years of use as it's ordinary cheap stuff. At this point I'm going to do what I usually do which is re-line it with felt glue and keep using it. Buy it at this price and be satisfied with the protection it offers.
