Review on FEL PRO VS 50451 Valve Gasket by Bobby Aghetoni

I used this gasket to install an aluminum valve cover on my 1997 Saturn SL2. Many people know that composite valve covers can warp and using this valve cover is the solution. Reading posts on the SaturnFans forum showed that using a small amount of black RTV next to the timing chain would be beneficial. Personally I've used a little near the timing chain and a very thin layer around the gasket just because I've always done that with great results. I've read that it's okay not to use RTV for a short time, but it may leak later. Overall, the Fel-Pro did a great job with this pad. I would buy it again if I replaced the aluminum cover again.
