Review on πŸ”§ Hi-Lift Jack PP-300 Post Popper: Efficient Tool for Hassle-Free Post Removal by Omar Svagera

Works well: Jack

In the product photos I am a petite 130 lb woman not a 5ft 10ft 180 lb man. I have used it successfully to remove standard DOT-U posts that had been damaged by a snow plow on my employer's property. A pole was bent almost 50 degrees and covered with sand. The other was rolled up and installed on the pavement (about 3 inches of pavement on dirt - aka pavement). We received both. High quality. The base is a bit small when used on soft ground, so take a piece of wood with you to distribute the force to the ground. Bring a friend who weighs over 150 pounds to help you. it will be faster. Follow the directions - the lever is just above the waist for better torque. I'm short so it took a while and I had to get creative, but it worked. Or adjust the angle on the product photos. If the angle of the lever is much larger, it won't work either. There have been complaints that this doesn't work for pins set in cement. This is not surprising, this is the whole point of installing columns in cement. This worked well for getting the pole THROUGH the sidewalk on our property (much different than IN Cement).

Pros
  • All right!
Cons
  • boring packaging
