Ideal for our bird houses. They're soft and well-made, with no frayed edges or loose material. We've been using it for a little over two weeks. Chickens love them. We had to clean them several times because we have two young hens who insist on sleeping in birdhouses. They are easy to clean if you shake them well to remove dried droppings. They're easy to hose down if you need to clean them up a bit. Artificial grass carpets cost much less than a 10 pack and last much longer as they can be cleaned and reused. I also considered buying the spiky gray plastic mats they sell here but found them uncomfortable. Maybe the chickens can handle it, but I didn't want to spend $28 on a mistake. Grass mats are perfect for our needs and our chickens seem to really enjoy them.
