Review on π Dorman 85936 Starter Ignition Switch by Daniel Ton
Difficulty removing nuts before they are securely fastened. I've bought over 1000 of these and just recently stripped 3 mounting nuts.
About 5-10% of these switches fail within the first week. I bought many hundreds of these last year but haven't had any problems with them until the last few months. Mounting nuts are removed during installation. The internal spring mechanism fails, so the key does not return after starting. Complaint that the key falls out. What happened to quality control?
