Went to install, misplaced timing belt, used proper hex key to retract tensioner, felt step/stuck half way, and flimsy aluminum bracket holding socket just torn out! The tensioner never went all the way back, it just did it with the power of its own spring and whatever made it heavy halfway. Incidentally, a mechanic with 30 years experience had to buy one locally, only to find out it was the same brand just without the GM logo, installed it and pushed it back with an Allen key to prevent it happening again . Garbage!
