They are way cooler than I thought
I thought they were like fancy colored pencils but wow they are so cool. They color well and match perfectly. They aren't meant for detail, but would be cool for a broad color scheme or background. I mixed my finger and water. If you add more water they will mix even better (but be careful as thin paper can tear). I use 100 lb cardboard. I think they would be a good complement to watercolor pencils and drawing pencils. They also have a decent shine, I'm not sure if you can see it in the photo but it is.
