I wanted a cheap temporary replacement/upgrade for my "worn out" shock absorbers. The car is 21 years old and bounces a lot - I've heard the GR-2s aren't the best for the Saab 900, but at $96 for all four corners shipped I couldn't help but get by. I had to. After removing the old rear shock absorbers I manually checked the stiffness and then compared it to the GR-2 and the original ones are actually more resilient! These brand new GR-2 shocks are softer than worn out 21 year old shocks. Never. Again. Save money and buy something else.
