Review on 🐱 Ultra Pet Clumping Crystal Cat Litter: 5lb Pack with White & Multicolor Crystals by Nicole Fisher

First time with this product. The cat litter I normally use has gone up in price. I used an unusual non-clumping crystalline filler (the type with crystalline "cores" that look like Lego if you accidentally step on them). I switched to a corn based litter which of course had rave reviews but was shocked and outraged to find that it did NOT control the odor in ANY WAY. My poor cat ran out of her box after using it because even with her daily digging, the corn litter kept the nastiest smells out. Determined not to go broke and pay for my old fancy litter, I simply searched for cat litter, at least in search of a temporary replacement. The results have been amazing so far, and while the downside to this litter is that it has a sand-like texture, the clear benefit is that the texture is paw-friendly and cat urine crystallization WORKS. In fact, all the urine crystallizes into a neatly crunchy ball. I've never seen anything like this. Everyone wins with this nose =^-^= EDIT 01/29/19: Two years later I'm still using this brand. I've seen in other reviews that some people say there isn't enough litter in the bag, but I use an Omega Paw wheeled litter box (I refuse to call it self-cleaning because I have to turn it over anyway -_ - ). The newer models of this toilet have a great fill line, and putting in a bag of this toilet is what you need for a large size. It's true that you have to "stir" the litter once a day to keep the odor and liquid absorption optimal, but with my tray I have to turn it upside down to empty it, so it happens automatically.
