Review on LERWAY Bicycle Bike Stem Riser by Bruno Gilbert

Revainrating 2 out of 5

So close but fails where it matters

Bought one for a bike I didn't keep long and then bought a second for another bike. They look good and all the details seem to be of decent quality. They're easy to install and do exactly what they say they do. But the steering of your bike is very important. He cannot suddenly detach. The most important part are the two screws that attach the riser to the stem. You have to hold on - always. They seemed fine on my first bike, but then I only put them on once, never adjusted them again, and sold the bike a few months later. I bought another one for my next bike; After a month of use, I took it off again to make some other adjustments. When I wanted to put it back. One of the screws is broken. I haven't even tightened them yet! That is serious. It didn't hold up, and just hitting a bump could loosen another bolt and then you had no steering. I noticed the screw burned out before it even happened but if you look at the 1 star reviews here you will see that this has happened to quite a few people. I think it's worth spending a few bucks more to get something better.

Pros
  • Dope 🔥
Cons
