For the price, I should give this multimeter five stars. It reminds me of a simple Archer mini multimeter kit I put together decades ago. I still have this little meter but it's old and well used so I needed an inexpensive replacement. My main need was a small handheld multimeter for testing error-prone interconnect cables. And I have to check 110 volt outlets to find power when I work in the field. I didn't need anything fancy and I wanted something very small and this counter does the trick. I'm old school and love the analog meter. I have digital counters on my desktop, but I usually prefer analog ones. There aren't many settings for those who really need a highly functional PTO, but they'll do for simple testing. One AA butter is required, not included. But for the bargain price I don't care. To reset the counter you must use the set screw in the center of the display base. You can customize this with your thumbnail, so I don't care either. If you don't need a VOM with lots of features, this is a really good SMALL multimeter for the price.
