Review on Vic Firth DB22 Headphones Protection by Mike Devine

I bought these as an alternative to my regular Etymotic earplugs as these earplugs, while great, have caused various ear problems over time. Functionally, these guys do a fantastic job turning down the volume without sacrificing the overall sound quality too much. However, I have to be very careful when putting it on - the left auricle tends to slip off when I take it off. (Let me tell you, sticking a pointy wire bandage in your temple isn't much fun.) I have no idea if that's common or if I'm just having a few bums. Update (9/3/2015): Based on Dan's review, I bought a pair of 3M Peltor X-Series over-ear headphones Verdict: They're better in every way. They block noise just as well, are better made (no risk of putting out your eyes!) and only cost half as much. Save some money and get Peltors instead.
