have well water and collect a lot of sediment. I already have a filtration system and it captures 80% of the particles, but my water tastes bland and white washing gives it a slight gray cast after a wash or two. This filter was easy to install along with my other filter which took about an hour considering the setting time of the PVC cement. The difference in taste was striking, to say the least. A good investment as it also saves me from buying bottled water for my coffee maker. And no bleach or fabric softener in my washing machine. Pays for itself in a very short time. money well spent. Good solid construction and looks for years to come.
