When it comes to glued joints, this is a simple design that will quickly bring success to anyone. Some of the other splicing attachments require more effort to install and are a waste (even if they are junk). This connection design is simple, strong and self-aligned for bonding. These bits cut cleanly and effortlessly. I don't know if I want to use them anywhere other than in a spreadsheet, but it depends on your setup. I used these bits on the joined edges and the end result was an invisible join that looked like a solid panel. This is one of my sets.
