There's just a small, shallow groove at the ends of each side to hold the wire in place; There is no groove or guide to hold the wire where the wire is most likely to slip. It is very difficult to keep the cable from slipping when the wheel is tightened. Our experience is that after the first slip, the wire keeps slipping off with almost every use no matter how hard we spin the wheel. A small design change to prevent this would make this piece a winner.
