It does not work even on old unused pans.
The claims on this product is false! It loses too much heat.Rainbean and other companies should not hide the fact on the heat loss on their product description. I tested this on my new DuxTop 9600LS on boil mode. It didn't even start boiling passed 10 mins. Induction-ready cookware whether they are aluminum and other non-magnetic materials, a steel plate is added at the bottom flat surface area by electrically fusing them together. Heat temperature is transferred very efficiently. Avoid this gimmick, and sadly enough I'm returning this back to Revain. Buy pots and pans made for induction stoves. I have to admit, I tried to save a few dollars and that's the truth!
- This lets my wife use her espresso pot on our new induction range. She says it does the job.
