I liked the look when I saw it here. now that they are installed, I like both the look and the function again. come to this point. not as much. I didn't want the mirrors to be plastic and look crappy. They are definitely NOT plastic and they don't look crappy. the clamp that holds the knot at the end of the handlebars leaves a lot to be desired. There are a few things you should know before you jump in and buy. First, they include a pair of Allen keys to install them. They're pretty much useless as I managed to round one of them to tighten the clip. That's when I dug my own set out of the garage. When I did that, I reached a semi-fixed mount. The key to getting there is to spread the clamp OUTSIDE where it fits on the handlebars, loosen the adjustment, and then reinsert it into the handlebars. You really need a good set of allen keys to install them. Second, once I got that inner clip where it would tighten, I had to take a hammer and tap the knot. This released the clamp and allowed the whole thing to attach to the end of the handlebar. Don't worry too much about the general position of what's hanging on the outside of the handlebars, as you can adjust it with the visible fasteners. After my first trip I liked them. They've stayed where they belong and because they're a bit larger than the previous mirrors, I feel like visibility is a bit better.
