Google Wifi's mesh network is characterized by ease of use and excellent coverage/speed for your WiFi network. The downside is you end up with those hotspot pucks scattered throughout the house. Sometimes you just want to free up some desk space or get those pucks out of the way. It does. Easy. Each puck only takes a few minutes (as others have said, make sure the Wi-Fi point has been added to your network and is working BEFORE you plug it into the mount). The whole thing plugs into the outlet with no issues - if you have old/worn out outlets that don't hold the plugs well, they might not work for you (but if you're dealing with that, you still need to install new outlets). This allows these units to be placed against walls that may not have room for a table or counter. They are well thought out and designed - quite ingenious in their simplicity. Definitely worth it if you're trying to get your Google Wifi washing machines off tables and out of the way.
