Review on 🔧 TOTALFLOW Black 2-Chamber Muffler - 09-18 1500 Direct Fit Exhaust for 2009-2018 Dodge Ram 1500 - 409 Stainless Steel (2) by Ben Alvarez

Let me start by saying that I went with the 2 chamber version in hopes of getting the deeper and smoother tone I was comparing about the straight-through design, but I was concerned that it might be too loud for my liking. As far as I can tell, it's almost identical in design to the Flowmaster 40 series, which is the last in their lineup. and some WD-40. I had no problem lining up the factory exhaust pipes with the new muffler. The first impression after installation was that, to my surprise, it's not too loud at all, but perfect. Exactly what I was hoping for and at a price many times cheaper than comparable options from other manufacturers. The idle tone is even and deep. When accelerating, it is clearly audible in the cockpit, but not oversteered. At 60 mph cruising it's noticeable, but not much more than stock. At 75 I would call it noticeable but not loud. It's more noticeable with the windows down, but I'd still rate it as moderate. Always has the smooth deep tone I was hoping for. For the price I really couldn't be happier with this product and would recommend it to anyone. I plan to release a longer term update once it gets longer usage. Edit: Here's an update in a few weeks. Downgraded from 5 to 4 stars. I still like the sound but my confidence in the quality of the product is fading. There is a small hole in one of the welds that the exhaust is now leaking through and no matter how well the pipes are installed I can't stop any of them from leaking exhaust with factory clamps. I've emailed Totalflow, we'll see how their customer service is.
