Review on JACO BikePro Bike Tire Pressure Gauge - 60 PSI (MTB Series) with Presta and Schrader Air Chucks by Jeremy Black

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Excellent quality but a few minor imperfections

The device is manufactured as before. Solid brass nozzles and fittings, real rubber hose, beautiful dial. I like the priming feature that lets you set the pressure. I like that it keeps the readings until you decide to delete them. A few questions: - The Presta does not have a silicone liner installed. Has the liner in the shredder mounting tube become loose? Without a diagram or instructions it makes no sense what it is and what to do with it - there are no instructions or assembly diagrams. Again, what am I supposed to do with this silicone hose? Through blind luck and trial and error, I finally found out it was the stem seal. Nice to have: - A carry case would be ideal. Thing is bulky and heavy - A place to store a spare nozzle. I'm sure I'll lose the one I don't use. If I keep it in a safe place, it will never be with me. It would be nice to at least be able to attach it to the hose or better yet provide a carrying case with space for the nozzle when not in use - a spare silicone hose would be nice now that I know it's the gasket that the Presta is rubbing against -Threads and can wear out over time. Once I figured out where to insert the silicone tubing, everything worked great. I haven't tested accuracy with several other sensors, but I tend to think this one is the most accurate. Overall a great sensor, but a carrying case would make it near perfect.
