Review on 🔥 1 Gallon Firefly Kosher Paraffin Lamp Oil - Odorless & Smokeless - Pure & Ultra Clean Burning Liquid Fuel by Alec Winsor

These comments are for my Feuerhand 276 Baby Special cold air lantern with a Feuerhand wick (13mm or 1/2 wide). I have tried Firefly Safe and Green Lamp Oil in the past and it does NOT absorb quickly enough to sustain more than the minimal flame. If you turn the wick more than 2mm (1/8 inch), the flame rises a little higher for a moment, but then quickly burns out the wick (yes, I soaked the wick for a few hours before testing and the lantern heats up.) But then I looked on the Firefly Fuel website and noticed that the label of "Simply Pure Lamp Oil" had a picture of a cold water lamp. This fuel says "For those who need a low freeze point and fast absorbing cold blast fuel." Maybe this fuel is the best choice for cold lights? So I bought this stuff and "Simply Pure Lamp Oil" was perfect for my cold air lantern! It absorbs moisture better, giving it a bigger flame and more light. If you need firefly fuel for your cold wind lantern, this looks like it's for you!
